Redfield Community Memorial Hospital is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse 

Department:  Hospital Nursing/Emergency/Medical Department

Schedule:  60-72 hours/pay period/night shift

Responsibilities

Job Summary: 
Must be able to utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs, systematically plan and implement a plan of care, and continually evaluate the outcomes of that care. Provide direct/indirect patient care in the medical setting which includes opportunities to meet physical needs of our patients. Care opportunities include wide range of diagnosis and ages. The various environments in which the Registered Nurse may work include medical, swing bed, ER ICU, CCU, and outpatient areas.

Qualifications

Education:  Associate degree or above in nursing. One-year hospital nursing experience preferred

Certification and Licensure: 
Current South Dakota RN license. Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC or within one year of employment.

 "Our Commitment to a Healthy Future" campaign to raised funds to purchase various items for the $6.2 million expansion and renovation project that began at the hospital in spring 2009.


The 17,000 square foot addition provided 13 new inpatient rooms, two cardiac care rooms, two emergency rooms, pharmacy, patient registration area, and a new ambulance/emergency entrance. The renovation remodeled about 9,500 square feet of the hospital, including an operating room, recovery room, ambulatory surgery rooms, visiting specialist room, outpatient treatment center, bone density scanning room, ultrasound room, and other support services
