Community Memorial Hospital and Redfield Clinic COVID -19 vaccine clinic update - April 16, 2021

Friday, April 16, 2021

“We are excited to offer you a wonderful opportunity to protect yourselves, your loved ones, your students, and your communities from COVID-19. The State of South Dakota has opened the administration to any over the age of 18*. If you or any family members are interested in receiving the vaccine, please use the link below to register.

All vaccination clinics are held at the Redfield Armory on Wednesdays. The next available vaccine clinic is on April 28th.

Please use this link: COVID-19 Vaccine Schedule to be screened and self-schedule for a date/time best for you. Please follow the prompts and select “Redfield Armory, Redfield,SD” for your vaccination location. If April 28th schedule is full, please call the Redfield clinic at 472-0510 to be added to a waiting list.

It takes less than 30 minutes to get your vaccine. We administer the Moderna two-dose vaccine, we ask that you confirm your availability to receive the second dose 28 days later.

While vaccines have been shown to be very effective, CMH still recommends masking, social distancing and using good hand hygiene after vaccination. There is a small chance that you can still get infected or spread the virus to others even after getting your shot. By getting our COVID-19 vaccinations, we can decrease the spread of COVID-19 in our communities and hopefully come closer to normal.

*If you have a family member 16-17 years of age, and would like them to be vaccinated please schedule them for a vaccine administration at Avera St. Luke’s at this time. They currently are administering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, which is approved for ages 16 and older. “
