CMH Auxiliary Sponsors Health Care Scholarship Program - March 15, 2019

The Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary met on February 27th for their monthly meeting.  Following reports, discussion included funds available for a new scholarship program recently introduced by our organization.  Applications have been sent to all area schools. 

Anyone interested in pursuing a career involving any type of the medical field is welcome to apply for the CMH Auxiliary’s scholarship.  Funds for this project were recently raised through the 2nd Annual Broasted Chicken Dinner served at Roosters in January and our Annual Craft Fair held in October. 

Any students interested in this scholarship program are encouraged to send their application by March 15th to CMH Auxiliary, ATTN: Judy Carroll, P.O. Box  420 Redfield SD.

  • Considerable remodeling was done during this time (1968) to meet the needs of a growing community.
  • The clinic was added on to the hospital in 1991, decreasing bed capacity to 25.

  • The clinic was purchased by the hospital and city in June of 1993.
  • Designated as Critical Access Hospital in June, 2000.
